My charge cable is stuck in the charge point – what should I do?
If your cable is stuck, you can easily unlock it via the Remote Charge Point Control functionality in your dashboard. Go to account.shellrecharge.com , log in with your account information and visit your dashboard. From here, select the 'Charge points' tab and then you can end your charge session. Ending the charge session will automatically unlock the connector. This means that the vehicle connected will stop charging.
If your cable is stuck in a public charge point, you should first unlock the car and swipe any RFID card on the machine. End the session with the same charge card that was used to start the charging session. If this does not work, please contact customer service or the site owner.
