Delivery
Once you have submitted your enquiry, you will receive a link to our online home installation survey. This will help determine your installation requirements and costs. Next, we will be in touch with you to clarify any remaining questions and create a final quote for your order.
Once you have approved the tailor made quote, we will schedule an installation date, at a time that is convenient for you. It is from this date that our lead times for delivery start from. In normal circumstances, we would usually try to deliver your charge point in roughly 3-4 weeks from when you accept our quote and receive your order confirmation. If you are awaiting a new vehicle, this will be taken into consideration for the timings of the appointment.
However, we must make you aware that, the current delivery timeline for new charge points is anywhere between 6 and 8 weeks.
In the UK, all charge point installs have to be approved by your local grid operator (Distribution Network Operator - DNO), for safety reasons. As the take up of plug-in vehicles has grown this year, the DNOs are struggling to keep up with the increased volume of applications. Therefore, our installation partners have not been able to plan the charge point installations as normal, which again has led to a backlog of installation appointments and longer lead times, whilst they wait for approval from the DNOs.

Installation
An installation typically takes half a day and requires you to be at home. We will contact you nearer the time of delivery with all the necessary deadlines and information on how to prepare.
Payment
No payment will be required until your installation has been completed and you have a fully functioning home charge point. You will receive an invoice by email, with a payment term of 14 days. When you sign up for a subscription, we will either invoice this simultaneously with the charge point (prepaid) or separately each month (recurring). Read more about subscriptions.
Returns
You can cancel the agreement up until the installation has started. If you cancel 3 business days before the installation appointment, no cancellation costs are charged. If you cancel within 3 business days or when the installer is on site, a call out fee may be charged. Several items are excluded from the right of withdrawal, as described in our General Terms and Conditions. This holds for example for items specially composed or produced for you, such as coloured or tethered charge points. Once the installation is completed, your return rights are waived, due to the installation work and customisation, which you will need to confirm when approving the final quote.
