What should I do if I do not have a charge card from my leasing company (yet) and want to request a reimbursement through my employer?
If you have not (yet) received a charge card from your leasing company (e.g. MultiTank card) and want to start charging immediately, you can manually create an overview of your previous charging sessions, so that you can pass on the miles you have driven to your employer. You can create an overview in the following ways:
Do you have a Home Standard or a Home Fast charging point?
- Log in to account.shellrecharge.com Choose 'charge points' > 'configurations' > 'configure charge card access'
- In step 4, select the option 'You pay the electricity costs for charging'
Do you have a Home Advanced charging point?
In the meantime, you can request your own Shell Recharge charge card and link it to your charge point via your account, or call our customer service to have a temporary charge card linked. As soon as you have received the lease card from your employer or lease company, you can link this charge card to your charge point.
- Log in to account.shellrecharge.com
- Choose 'charge points' > 'configurations' > 'configure charge card access'
- Go to step 'Who pays the charging costs?' and select 'Link a charge card' to add the charge card from your lease company. Your electricity costs are then automatically reimbursed by your employer or leasing company.
If your employer or leasing company does not provide a charge card, select 'I do not have a charge card' and then manually set up a payment account. In that case, you should receive a business billing account from your employer.
