My charge card and app don’t work, what do I need to do?
Due to a technical issue which is now resolved, you will need to take some steps to regain access to your Shell Recharge account or use your Shell Recharge charge card at home or on-the-go.
We apologise for this inconvenience and kindly request you to follow the steps below to reactivate your Shell Recharge account.
Steps to regain account access
For public charging customers
- Reset your password using the Shell Recharge app.
- Verify the new password via email.
- You’re ready to charge again! From now on, you can manage your settings on the online portal or Shell Recharge app.
For home charging customers
- Reset your password using the Shell Recharge app.
- Verify the new password via email.
- Relink your charge point and charge card to the account.
- You can also enable automatic cost reimbursement and guest usage again.
- You’re ready to charge again! From now on, you can manage your settings on the online portal or Shell Recharge app.
Does the serial number of your charge point start with 01, 02, 03, 04, 18b or 19b?
If yes, please add your charge point to your account via our website: account.shellrecharge.com.
