What is the best way to plan my route abroad via the app?
With the Route Planner feature, you can input your destination, including your current level of charge and the app will plan the best route for you, giving you recommendations on when and where to stay an charge en route. You can even set how much charge you wish to have on arrival.
If planning a journey in advance, or to access charge points you use regularly, you can save a charge point to favourites in the app. Then they are ready and visible for future use.
- Open Route Planner adding your destination and current EV data
- Add any additional preferences you may have, including speed of charger and minimum state of charge
- Export the route to your favorite navigation app with the click of a button and you're ready to hit the road.
If planning a journey in advance, or to access charge points you use regularly, you can save a charge point to favourites in the app. Then they are ready and visible for future use.
- Simply navigate to your first planned stop and Google Maps will open.
- Then open the sidebar by clicking on the 3 dot icon in the top left of the screen, then click on add stops.
- You can add as many charge stops as you like. After adding each stop, press ready.
- Click on the dot icon again and save the route on your home screen.
