VISA Olympics promotion

What is this promotion all about? 

Customers who opt into the promotion under the Rewards and Partnerships section of the Shell Recharge app, charge at a Shell Recharge forecourt or selected Waitrose or Aldi supermarket, and pay via the Shell Recharge app with a VISA card will be entered into the Paris Olympics prize draw.

The competition gives drivers the opportunity to win a pair of tickets to the Paris Olympics 2024 or receive Olympics branded merchandise.  

 

Who can benefit from the promotion? 

Shell Recharge customers aged 18 or over and residents of Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) with active accounts can benefit from the Promotion.

 

How can I claim the promotion? 

The promotion will be visible and available to activate in the Shell Recharge app from 8th April.

To enter the promotion, simply activate the promotion under the “Rewards and Partnerships” section of the app, and pay for your charging session at Shell Recharge branded chargers located at Shell service stations and selected Waitrose and Aldi supermarkets in the United Kingdom via the Shell Recharge app and using a VISA payment card between 8th April– 6th May 2024 to be automatically entered into the prize draw. For every qualifying transaction paid using a VISA credit or debit card, you will earn 1 entry into the prize draw competition.

What is the duration of the promotion? 

The Promotion is available from 00.01 GMT on 8 April 2024 until 23:59 GMT on 6 May 2024. 

 

How can I locate charging stations on Shell Recharge charging network? 

The Promotion is available at all Shell Recharge branded chargers located at Shell service stations. Details of these are available in the Shell Recharge App when the ‘Shell Recharge stations’ filter is applied to display chargers at Shell Recharge locations on the map.

How many times can I enter? 

You can enter as many times as you like; for every qualifying transaction paid for using a VISA credit or debit card via the Shell Recharge app, the customer will earn 1 entry into the prize draw competition. 
 

Is this promotion applicable to other countries aside from the UK? 

This Promotion is only applicable to participating Shell Recharge locations, for customers in the United Kingdom. To find your nearest participating Shell Recharge location you can filter in the Shell Recharge App. 

  

How will I be informed if I have won a prize? 

You will receive an email from the Shell Recharge team later in May if you have won a prize. Please note that we can only contact you if you have given us your consent to do so. Please navigate to the Shell Recharge app, select “Account”, “My Profile”, and “Communication Preferences” and check the “Stay up to date” box.
