The benefit of the new CarPlay feature is the “hands-free” functionality. All the features you’re used to in the Shell Recharge app can be synced from your phone to your car screen, so you can focus on the road. Locate a charge point, filter what you want based on speed, connector type & availability and let the map navigate you on-screen. You can even save and 'favourite' your local and commonly used charge points for easy access.
