Are home electric car chargers universal?

As standard, Shell Recharge charge points come with a standard Type 2 plug and 3-pin plug cable, and is considered to be the standard model. Most public charging stations are also equipped with a Type 2 socket. This means our charge points are compatible with all current electric and plugin hybrid electric vehicle models and manufacturers.
