What is the OZEV Grant for home charge points (EVHS)?
The OZEV Grant also known as the Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS) offers a £350 discount off the purchase & installation costs of a home charge point. The grant is available for most EVs and plug-in hybrids. You can claim one charge point per qualifying vehicle. A household can claim up to two charge point grants.
From April 2022, the EVHS will no longer be open to homeowners (including people with mortgages) who live in single-unit properties such as bungalows and detached, semi-detached or terraced housing.
The scheme will remain open to: Homeowners who live in flats People in rental accommodation (flats and single-use properties)
