Dynamic Power Management for Business
Dynamic Power Management for Business
Our Dynamic Power Management (DPM) for Business is a load balancing solution that dynamically distributes the power of your grid connection across business activities and EV charging infrastructure. This allows you to increase charging speed or expand the number of charge points at your site, all without the need for expensive grid updates.

Optimise charging power
Optimally use available power for more, or faster, EV charging and eliminate the need for costly grid upgrades.

Ensure business continuity
Protect your business from outages while expanding or upgrading your EV charging infrastructure.

Become future-proof
Allow for easy future expansion, preparing your business for the EV charging needs of tomorrow.
Smart charging service for businesses
By measuring total power consumption in real-time, DPM for Business continuously ensures optimal energy distribution and is designed to prevent the grid connection from overloading. This way, you can expand your EV charging infrastructure whilst enabling drivers to charge as fast as possible.

Frequently asked questions
Dynamic Power Management (DPM) for Business is a dynamic load balancing solution that enables optimal use of a business’s available grid connection for charging EVs by dynamically distributing the power of the grid connection over the regular needs and the EV charging infrastructure. This allows businesses to increase the number of charge points at their location, or to increase the charging power of the existing infrastructure. DPM for Business takes into account peak energy usage through heavy electrical equipment to safeguard business continuity.
- The DPM module is configured to the grid connection capacity
- The energy used by the regular business needs on your site is continuously monitored.
- Surplus energy is supplied to the charge points and is evenly distributed between them.
- The DPM module ensures the total energy usage of business + charging infrastructure never exceeds the limits of the grid connection, by quickly reacting to energy peaks of high power-consuming equipment.
- The charging infrastructure is enabled to use more energy, allowing for faster charging or more charge points.
Hardware New or existing business charge points (Business Pro/Lite 2.0-2.1 charge points, incl. socket-, tethered-, View- and Managed Schuko versions).*
Installation Maximum 100m distance between Business Pro charge point and distribution box
Grid connection 3-phase main, max. 3,000 Amps The max total charge point load (in Ampere) is less than 75% of the maximum total load (charge points + building)
*One DPM for Business module can support 1 Business Pro group with up to 40 Business Lite charge points.
The DPM for Business module costs €1750. The installation will be a custom price, including call-out costs, hourly fee, ethernet switch and ethernet cables.
For all our installations, our installers comply with the international and local regulations concerning electrical systems and EVSE installations. Our installers will therefore determine and install the appropriate safety measures before installing the DPM module. DPM for Business allows the grid connection to be used to its full potential without overloading safety components, resulting in optimal charge power without causing power drops.
The installation of the Dynamic Power Management for Business module (the power meter and 3 current sensors) in the main distribution board of the customer is quite easy and should not take more than 30 minutes. The EMpro kWh meter also needs to be connected via a data cable and switch to the Business Pro. The installation time for this data cable and switch depends on the distance between the main distribution board and the Business Pro and how the cable needs to be routed (number walls, type of walls, underground or above ground, etc.).
No, Dynamic Power Management for Business does not need BMS integration, as it measures autonomously what the remaining available power is it can use for EV charging.
