Frequently asked questions
All models are smart systems, with smart charging services, designed to optimise EV charging at home.
Functionally, Terra AC and Advanced are fairly similar. The main difference is how they look. The Terra AC comes with a display screen.
AutoCharge, Dynamic Power Management, Wifi and customisation are not available with Terra AC.
We are continually trying to improve our service for our drivers. Currently, we can not fulfil charge point orders as quickly as we would like. We have partnered with leading EV charging experts, ABB, to improve this. By offering their hardware, we can give you the option to receive a charge point sooner than we could otherwise deliver it.
The Terra AC and Advanced both have:

All Terra AC charge points are white, wall-mounted and with a display. There is an option to add a 5m tethered cable at an extra cost.
Customising the colour of the Terra AC is not possible.
You can activate the Terra AC the same way you would activate the other charge points, with the charge card that will be delivered to you.

Just like Advanced, it is likely that the charge point will use 32 amps and charge at 7.4kW. This is dictated by the electricity setup in the UK. Homes with three-phase connections can charge at speeds of up to 22 kW for an additional installation fee.
No, our installers will configure the charge point in such a way that your maximum speed doesn't hamper your household.
The charging time depends on the maximum charging speed, the battery size of your car and the load when you plug it in. Our charging experts are happy to provide information on this based on your personal situation.
Yes, the cable is locked while charging making it impossible to steal.
Yes, you can decide who has access to your charge point. On our online user platform, you can set access either to public (open to all), or provide access to certain charge card numbers.
No, installation of our home charge points needs to be completed by one of our certified installation partners.
The standard warranty on all our charge points, accessories and installations are 2 years. With the OZEV grant, this is extended by another year, making a total of 3 years warranty on all products.
The setup and configuration of the Terra Ac is the same as the other charge points. You can easily configure and manage your charge point and charge card on our online user platform, where you can also get real time charging data such as kws usage, C02 savings and more.
