Why do I need to set up payment with a credit or debit card if I prefer direct debit with a debit card other than Visa or MasterCard?
We at Shell Recharge are always adapting to customer needs while keeping costs low for our customers as well. As perceived satisfaction with credit cards as a payment method is higher in the UK than with direct debit, we have decided to fully switch to credit cards as a payment method for charging costs. Direct debit is thus not supported anymore to ensure that we can keep costs for our British customers low. If this is not in line with your personal needs, we regret this.
