Business installation in 6 easy steps
Step 1
Initial consultation
A Shell Recharge Solutions expert will meet with you to discuss your specific needs. We ask questions to better understand your site requirements as well as the unique needs of your business.
Step 2
Site survey
To make a good assessment of your desired charging locations, our experts conduct a physical site survey. Based on our findings, we will provide advice on a tailored solution and draw up a comprehensive quote.
Step 3
Confirm quote
Our sales team will send you the quote for approval. Once the quote is agreed, we will get in touch to agree on planning details.
Step 4
Prepare installation
Together, we will schedule a convenient installation date when you can be present. In the background we will process important documentation for instance Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS) and help with the Energy Networks Associations ENA process with your Distribution Network Operator (DNO) to get your charge points approved.
Step 5
Installation
On the day(s) of your installation, your new charging infrastructure will be installed with an agreed moment to shut down the power to the distribution board being worked on for a short time to complete the installation. The installer will provide a short how-to demonstration on charging.
Step 6
Activation
After installation, you need to create an account, allowing you to view and manage your charge points and cards and set reimbursement all from one easy-to-use online platform.
